als leverancier van beroemde artiesten. In 2003 werd Katie Melua ontdekt tijdens
een showcase door Mike Batt (zelf ook zanger en tekstschrijver,
maar ook arrangeur en producent) die op zoek was naar een zangeres
met aanleg voor jazz en blues. Haar eerste album Call Off The Search werd
in 2003 uitgebracht. Hierop staan twee nummers van haarzelf.
Haar tweede album Piece by Piece kwam uit op 26 september 2005.

Paul Rankin

Televisie Chef Kok
Zijn eerste uitstapje naar televisie was in de serie Gourmet Ireland , geproduceerd door het Ierse bedrijf Waddell Productions, en vertoond op zowel BBC als RTE. Zowel Paul als Jeanne speelden een hoofdrol in de show die bekend stond om het geklets tussen de twee. Jeanne is een succesvolle banketbakker. Sindsdien is hij een vaste chef van het BBC- kookprogramma Ready Steady Cook.
In 1999 was Rankin de eerste chef-kok uit Noord-Ierland die een Michelinster kreeg.
Hij heeft vijf kookboeken geschreven en runde de Rankin Group-keten van restaurants en cafés, waaronder Cayenne en Roscoff in Belfast. Zijn Canadese vrouw Jeanne heeft hem kennis laten maken met koken en is mede-eigenaar van hun bedrijf.

Met de release van Black Coffee , een dertien nummers tellend jazz / blues-album
op het Fossyl Records-label, slaat Wendy artistiek nieuwe wegen in.
Als gevestigde artiest heeft ze veel succes gehad met airplay en hitlijsten met
haar gospel- en countryprojecten. Die albums, opgenomen voor White Water Records, hebben door de jaren heen een sterke blues-smaak gehad,
en een rechttoe rechtaan jazz / blues-project was de logische volgende stap.
De productie is akoestisch en zeer rechttoe rechtaan en toont haar opvallende altstem, omlijst door een basispiano, bas, drums, jazztrio.
