een showcase door Mike Batt (zelf ook zanger en tekstschrijver,
maar ook arrangeur en producent) die op zoek was naar een zangeres
met aanleg voor jazz en blues. Haar eerste album Call Off The Search werd
in 2003 uitgebracht. Hierop staan twee nummers van haarzelf.
Haar tweede album Piece by Piece kwam uit op 26 september 2005.

Als gevestigde artiest heeft ze veel succes gehad met airplay en hitlijsten met
haar gospel- en countryprojecten. Die albums, opgenomen voor White Water Records, hebben door de jaren heen een sterke blues-smaak gehad,
en een rechttoe rechtaan jazz / blues-project was de logische volgende stap.
De productie is akoestisch en zeer rechttoe rechtaan en toont haar opvallende altstem, omlijst door een basispiano, bas, drums, jazztrio.

Linda Bengtzing

Ze werd bekend in het vierde seizoen van het Idoolprogramma Fame Factory en probeerde ook een gooi te doen naar het Eurovisiesongfestival in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2016 en 2020. Ze bracht in 1987 en 1989 twee singles uit, maar verdween dan 15 jaar uit de muziekindustie. Ze nam in 2004 deel aan Fame Factory en werd zo bekend. Ze stuurde het lied Alla Flickor in voor Melodifestivalen 2005 en werd geselecteerd.

Erika Pluhar

Nadat ze haar school had afgerond in 1957, studeerde Erika Pluhar aan het Max Reinhardt Seminar , de Weense academie voor muziek en podiumkunsten waar ze in 1959 cum laude afstudeerde. Ze ging onmiddellijk acteren aan het Burgtheater , het keizerlijke hoftheater, waar ze een lid van de acteergroep van 1959 tot 1999. Aan het begin van de jaren zeventig begon Erika Pluhar aan een zangcarrière. Ze schrijft al sinds haar kindertijd boeken; haar eerste boek werd in 1981 gepubliceerd.

Margriet Hermans

Vanaf 1989 presenteerde ze een aantal jaar vanuit het casino van Middelkerke haar eigen talkshow, Margriet, die op TV1 werd uitgezonden. Op dezelfde zender presenteerde ze ook programma’s als de Niks voor Niks-Show met Donaat Deriemaeker. Ze was ook een van de vaste panelleden van het Radio 2-programma De Zoete Inval en het TV1-programma Zeg eens euh! Bij de tweede rechtstreekse Vlaamse verkiezingen van 13 juni 1999 werd ze verkozen in de kieskring Mechelen-Turnhout. Ook na de Vlaamse verkiezingen van 13 juni 2004 werd ze opnieuw lid van het Vlaams Parlement. Ze bleef Vlaams volksvertegenwoordiger tot juni 2009.
Tussen juli 2004 en juni 2009 werd ze door het Vlaams Parlement aangewezen
als gemeenschapssenator in de Senaat.
