Ze trad regelmatig op in Theatresports , Gorilla Theatre en Life Game, maar ook in de toneelstukken van Keith, regisseerde en trad op in het Theater For Kids-programma en tourde producties.

She was named by the American Film Institute as one of the greatest female stars of Classical Hollywood cinema. As of 2023, she is one of the last surviving major stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema and is the only remaining living person to appear on the AFI’s list of the 25 greatest female stars of American film history, positioned at number 21 and the only still living person on the list.
